FROM THE FATHER'S HEART My child, why are you digging up old behaviors for Me to forgive? Was My word not enough the first time? My victory on the cross paid for every sin you will ever commit. I will never tolerate new sin behaviors. I will empower you to live in your new nature. But My forgetfulness is to your advantage. It means I no longer record sin to your account. When I clean out the rooms of your heart, I will fill them with beautiful new furnishings--things that are worthy of a child of God.
A GRATEFUL RESPONSE Lord, parts of my past are like stains on the artist's palette. But with one stroke of Your brush, You blend all the colors to form a beautiful masterpiece. What I remember, You erase. Lord, thank You for Your forgetfulness--for remembering to forget.
